About Us

Meet the people
behind HARA

Katie Molony and Patrick McAndrew sitting on a couch.

Patrick and Katie met in 2019 both living in New York when Patrick invited Katie as a guest on his podcast.

There was an instant friendship and respect - like kindred spirits. Sharing a deep passion in the power of business to make positive change in the world. Often discussing that your work should help you to grow and develop - not just as an employee, but as a human being. Together they created HARA.

HARA, translated from Japanese simply means belly, yet there is so much more to this word. At a deeper level the word, HARA, means one’s true nature; who one truly is as a human being. So it is not just a physical center in the body but also the center of one’s true nature.

HARA is focused on shedding the inherited workplace norms that often inhibit potential. HARA is passionate about creating a human first leadership approach that allows the individual, team and organization to flourish. This core commitment will result in less churn, happier humans and optimal performance.

With a drive to spread this message and lead this change for today’s and future generations, that work starts now, with all of us. This focus begins in our homes, our place of work, with our friends and loved ones - with HARA.

Patrick presented at our Summer Sales conference in Nashville. For some of us it was a long night the night before. We had Patrick first thing , the energy he brought into the room was infectious.

Like any leader, everyone in business is going through tough times. I (and the team) were working incredibly long hours and I knew we needed to take better care of ourselves. When I saw Patrick's presentation I said that's it right there. This is what the team needs. I would highly recommend it.

There is that quote from Socrates that says 'To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom' and that is the encapsulation of what this program is all about.

I appreciate the scientific background of why I have to do these things, to be a better version of myself, as a leader, as a mother, as a wife. All the things that matter to me.

I've been in the financial services field all my life. I had been exploring the thought of branching out on my own. This workshop gives you a different perspective - why wait. So I will be launching it next month.
